Graphics Diploma Program:
The Academy's Computer Graphics Department is committed to educating
designers - first in the discipline of good design, and secondly
in the skilled operation of the latest hardware and software
used in the industry today. To ensure that each student spends
many hours mastering the one-year program's highly concentrated
curriculum, classes are kept small, and numerous computer workstations

Digital
Media Design Diploma Program:
The students of Digital Media Design will be immediately immersed
in the core fundamentals of interactive design. Courses such
as Digital Graphics, 3- D Animation, Web Page Design, Multimedia
and Digital Video integrates cutting edge technology with superior
design education.
In the second and third terms, students further their creative
and technical skills by learning the advanced methodologies
in programming and interface design to produce a dynamic portfolio.
Studio and business practices will round out the program. |

Digital
Film and TV Production Diploma Program:
The Academy's Digital Television Production (DTP) program will
prepare the next generation of content producers to embrace
the technical and creative challenges of Digital TV, Enhanced
TV and HDTV. Cinematographers teach classic film and TV techniques,
using the latest digital cameras and professional grip and lighting
gear. These techno-savvy storytellers learn to "paint with light",
and creatively fill a wider TV screen. The Academy has built
a unique relationship with the CBC. Production classes run out
of Studio 61, at the Broadcast Centre.
"The student's experience is unique," explains DTP Coordinator
Derek Luis, "because we're running the program like a production
company, not like a typical TV and film school." Derek has had
a decade of experience as a news and current affairs producer,
creating programming for YTV, MuchMusic, TVO and the CBC. |

Digital
Video Editing Program:
Non-linear digital video editing is the industry standard
for professionals working in television and film - and now
on Web pages and the Internet. Industry demand for editors
skilled in the leading digital post-production techniques
has caused non-linear editing to emerge as a rapidly growing
specialty.
The International Academy has responded with its own cutting
edge non-linear editing and design program. Designed to give
graduates the skills required for entry level digital editing
in the post-production environment, this 30-week intensive
course enables students to develop digital portfolios to show
potential employers and clients. The students will be able
to start working as professionals upon graduation.
