DreamWorks Animation SKG is an American 3D animation studio based out of Glendale, California. Founded by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen in 1994, this studio is known for it’s 3D animated films like Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, and more recently Puss in Boots. Their first movie released was the 3D animated film Antz in 1998, followed by the far more traditional The Prince of Egypt just 2 months later. Although DreamWorks have released traditional animated films such as The Road to Eldorado and The Prince of Egypt, their main focus continues to be computer generated 3D content.
